Michael sitting in for Katy tonight

Coming to you live from Robinson Cricket headquarters here in sunny Northern California it's Michael "Can't pick worth a damn" Robinson. Katy is out for parents evening at the school and has asked me to fill you all in on the happenings.

Well England is out after 2 losses. The 6 sixes from Singh did them in. India are lloking like the India of old and there should be plenty of smiling faces at work tomorrow.

My captain (Smith) scored 2 but South Africa came back to win against New Zealand in the last over. Gibbs is back in the side so maybe you want to choose him again.

Katy is looking close to unstoppable, so someone better figure out a few picks that will change things around a bit.

Here is the worm.

Tomorrows games are a must win between Sri Lanka and Australia, Bangladesh vs Pakistan and South Africa vs India, which should be interesting.

Now that Ponting is out, I have been agonising for hours trying to get my free choice of replacement right. This is really going down to the wire and making these important decisions is very hard - Henry came in to tell me 'it is only a game' - yeah right! Anyway, we saw the 'six six over' - I have never seen anything like it - awsome stuff!
Now will all the other competitiors in our competition write something on this blog please - we want to get to know you and hear your opinions - Mishal, where are you? And what about the folk from Michael's work - would love to hear from you. And where are Paul and Lynda - say something please. Enjoy the last Super Eights.

Thanks for the advice, sisterkins. I have duly replaced Mr Ponting. I am fully expecting Sri Lanka to hand the Australians their tickets home today. Of course, I chose Jayasuriya for my team this morning and he's just gone out for zippidydoodah. Eish.

Ja, so where are all the other comments from the rest of the competitors? I'm feeling like a blabbermouth. (I feel like that often, but that's not the point here.)

In the meantime, good on 'ya (lovely Australian expression), Katy!

I'm here with my big mouth as well. Don't despair Moira, I also picked Jayasuriya and he's had two ducks in two days. Ugh!
Did anyone notice, lots of women at the top. I too would like to hear from more people. My sweet husband became extremely quiet when his team turned "south".
I'm going to Katy and Michael's for the last of the round of eight. Good Luck to everyone.
